Crunch

I'm eating Grape Nuts for breakfast. This is the second round of crunch in my morning.

This was the first...

The good news is that no one was hurt...the Monkey was not with me....I was able to convince the police to come (which took a surprising amount of doing)...and there appears to be some reasonable chance, despite the oddities in the info he gave me, that the guy who hit me may well have insurance.

Oh, and the Grape Nuts are tasty.

Ohhhhhhhh, that sucks. I mean, yay for this happening in a Monkey-free zone and everything, but what a way to start your morning. :(

At least it looks like the car is still able to be driven - you didn't have to have it towed did you?

Wow, nobody was hurt, both drivers have insurance, *and* you don't have to get the car towed and pay for a rental? The car accident gods must be pleased with you.

P.S. - I'm assuming Ned is also okay?

...yep. You just reaffirmed why I'm so mellow about the whole thing. It could have been much worse...in particular given that it was 6:30 in the morning and I'd had no caffeine yet. Can you imagine??

Thanks for the reminder about Ned. He was not in the car at the time either... Come to think of it, I'm not sure where he's run off to. I should go find him before the Monkey gets home...

Eeesh. I dislike both accidents and grape nuts. Pre-coffee? That's just the universe being cruel.

I'm hope Ned's OK too -- he's in a particularly fragile state as it is (no, not Maryland - I kill me). So, $1700 bucks or what?

I'll sing a song for you and your car.
