Quite simply, you have to love a community where the Memorial Day parade watching crowd gets COMPLETELY EXCITED (and cheers and claps and squeals)...
...about the empty local transit bus in the lineup.
So. Awesome.

Nope, it's just a bus. Same kind of bus that passes my house every day. I think everybody was just riding the wave of enthusiasm for all things parade-y at the time...

I like to imagine that the bus was just on its regular route and got swept up by the marching bands and floats.
