NABLOPOMO

I only found out about the National Blog Posting Month challenge today...and sadly, I've already blown it by failing to post yesterday (doh!). The challenge is simple: blog once a day for the entire month of November. Can't/won't blog? Fine. Go comment on someone's blog...once a day for the entire month of November.

According to Fussy's website, it's the blogging version of NaNoWriMo: wherein (crazy) people sign up to spit out the Great American Novel in 30 days. (I wish there was ASCII-art for a completely bewildered face...because I'd absolutely insert it here: ___ A 30-day novel?? Really!?).

The blogging equivalent seems much, much more sane.

It's too late to officially sign up, but I was thinking about taking the challenge anyway. I've been a little too hit-and-miss on my blogging lately and I should really get back on the horse. Things are happening every day that I should be capturing (even if it's dumb stuff I notice like a video of a tranny singing about shoes).

So, I will.
Feel free to abuse me in comments if I drop the ball (again).

Or, if you're down with Yoda:

Abuse me you will in comments if ball dropping I do.

Yeah, I only found out about the novel thing on Oct. 29, and I was kind of tempted. I decided that I needed a little more time to, oh, come up with characters and a point. So maybe next year. From what they say, the point is really just to write *any* novel, because you know you want to, someday, and why not do it now? Because at least then you'll have a novel. Even if it's a crappy novel.
