Revelation

I found out today that I've been wearing the "wrong" contacts for the last 18 months -- which is, incidentally, the whole entire time I've been wearing contacts. Apparently the prescription they gave me had the wrong curvature or wrong size or something...so they were squeezing my eye. Eye squeezing, as it turns out, can make your eyes really bloodshot and tired...roughly the same effect as being on the mend from a red wine bender...less the heinous wretching. All in all it amounts to a not-so-good thing.

So the doctor gave me new contacts...that fit. And I can see! And I don't look even one bit hungover. It's really quite spectacular!

Now...what did I miss over the last 18 months...let me go look... :)

Ohh! So that time when your eyes were bothering you, my allergy drops was probably *not* what you needed.

No, I think I needed that stuff too...but also probably less squeezy contacts would have been nice. Now I have both. Yay for both!
